Leo Blair is studying International Relations and Organisations at Leiden University. Originating from Scotland Leo grew up in The Hague where international diplomacy is key, he naturally became curious about politics and the world at large. Over time, this curiosity has turned into a strong focus on international relations, geopolitics, and political history. Leo finds it intriguing how events happening in one area can ripple out and impact other places, and he’s also interested in the various perspectives that can shape the understanding of those events. In his free time, he loves to travel, read, write, and, most importantly, engage in conversations that challenge his viewpoints. Through his involvement in student journalism, he aims to make international issues more approachable while highlighting angles that often go unnoticed. Leo has a particular interest in stories where local happenings shed light on larger trends in the ever-evolving world.
