Lidiia Lychahina is an International Relations student at Civitas University in Warsaw. As a former Young European Ambassador and an intern at Gdańsk City Hall, she has experienced both local and international dimensions of public affairs, strengthening her belief that international politics locally reported is possibly the most insightful way to understand global affairs.
She is particularly interested in security, digital transformation and Poland’s evolving role in both areas. Through her work, she hopes to contribute to greater visibility of Poland and encourage students to engage with the changing role of Eastern Europe in contemporary international affairs.
